i'm doing art for 2 of the upcoming tapes: IV the poly math "never sleep" and IZ REALs "nawwledge iz freedumb" with lyric book - also attempting to do a video for iz's "monster hero", eproms tape still coming and i've been in touch with some other rad new and old friends talking out new projects. stay tuned! sorry i don't update the site much except when releases are coming out.. check out the sassblogna.blogspot.com - new interviews with nick maida, BOLD LITTLE AIRWAVE and more on the way.. peace! |

iz real tape almost ready! eprom tape well under way. sudden death of stars (french indie group) to release 7" / tape in spring(?), other stuff on the way too. drew james "beattape to end beattapes" will be out soon! hopefully within this month. next will be amable's long awaited beat tape in augest. lastely, for now, sassbologna tapes have been available at ACTION VIDEO in muscatine for the last few months and will be for at least the next couple - stop in if you're in the area and get some tapes - four bucks or 3 for 10. thanks to all the new and continued supporters of the label! |

the next two releases planned - keeping the fresh hip hop flowing in '09 - are (the long awaited) Odetta "cut and paste volume one and two" tape which will feature bonus tracks and extended mixes not included on the free download versions (this has already been ordered and will be out soon), and Drew James' "beat tape to end all beat tapes" feat. some ultra ill illustration work on the cover by the one and only S.Maharba. Also, i'm moving, so things may be slow for a bit but new address and stuff will be announced soon. stay tuned! |
